Ways You Can Help
Building Projects on The Ploughshare Campus
LaRue Barn Conference Center – The LaRue barn currently does not have heating or cooling. Because of that, for only a limited part of the year can we host seminars and other events there. We plan to build an addition onto it, then insulate and finish out the interior so we can add a geothermal climate control system. This will enable us to turn the barn into a conference center in which we can hold seminars, conferences and meetings during any time of the year. To do this, we need to raise $150,000 for materials and equipment.
DONATE TO THE LARUE BARN PROJECT
Woodworking Shop Expansion – We plan to build a 1,500-square-foot addition onto the woodworking shop to house all the machine tools. Doing so will let us convert all of the main woodworking shop into a teaching facility. We plan to build the shop, using volunteer help, as much as possible, but we need your help to raise $35,000 for materials and supplies. Thus far, through generous contributaions, we have raised $15,000 toward our goal.
