In 2008, our group of master craftsmen and instructors were the first American woodworkers in over 100 years to be commissioned by the President to make a furniture piece for the permanent furniture collection at the White House. Our team of craftsmen here have a wide range of skills ranging from wood selection, and basic design principles, through to building show quality pieces, we also offer classes on finishing and tool sharpening. With our team, we able to help everyone, from complete novices to experienced woodworkers, overcome the issues they face in bringing their craft to perfection.
Nothing quite compares to being in a hands-on workshop with our woodworking instructors. But for those who are unable to travel to our campus as well as those who have taken our hands-on courses but want to continue to hone their skills at their home shop we have now launched our woodworking classes online with high definition videos. Our first course on sharpening basics is now finished as well as the three basic joints in depth; the dovetail, the mortise and tenon and the dado joint. From there we hope to have many more project videos guiding you step by step through them and you’ll be able to download all the plans and cut lists. You can watch all the videos as many times as you wish at any time you wish! Subscribe to the channel today or purchase one of the videos with confidence. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your courses or we will refund your money, no questions asked! We also have a set of the DVDs available in our shop if you happen to drop by and would like to see us in person! Read the FAQ.
