Bread baking, cheese making, canning and food preservation are important skills for a sustainable homestead. Though these skills were once common knowledge in most households across this country, sadly today, many people have grown up without learning them.
In developing these classes, we have worked to regain and recapture lost or nearly-lost skills and make them available in a form in which you can easily learn them and then apply them at home. In the classes, you will receive practical, hands-on experience and instruction along with written materials that will help you at home to continue to use and build upon what you have learned.
