12 day class
Many people have asked us over the years to do a course on making a dresser, so here it is! In this 12-day intensive course, you will learn chest construction, from dovetailing large carcasses to frame and panel construction. The first week will be spent on the making of the carcass and the second week will be spent on making and fitting the drawers. You will learn how to cut half-blind dovetails as well as the art of fitting drawers to tight tolerances. We will pre-glue the large panels prior to the class as well as pre-mill most of the parts (in the interest of time). In this class, we make this dresser in cherry. If you would like to make it in walnut, it will be an additional $160.00.
